Other students
Adolescent and adult students should register between the beginning of May 2010 and the end of June 2010 at Continuing Education, 100 Elm Drive West, room 116 (enter through the South West doors of building) from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Specific deadlines are being determined. We offer extended hours until 5:30 pm on Thursdays. Students must register in person. You may view a map for directions to Continuing Education.
Note: Registrars are not able to provide counselling services.
Students require an official Ontario secondary school transcript. If you do not have an Ontario transcript, an assessment is required for all new registrants. For more information phone the Adult Education Centre at 905-270-6000, ext. 420.
For new registrants to the Peel District School Board, one of the following original documents is required:
- Canadian Citizenship (Birth Certificate, Birth Registration Card, Passport, Citizenship Card or Certificate)
- Permanent Resident Status (Permanent Resident Card (PRC) or (IMM5292)
- Proof of Landed Immigrant Status (Record of Landing IMM1000)
- Any immigration documents the family may have which may include:
Temporary Resident Permit; Work Permit/Employment Authorization; Refugee Claimants/Convention Refugees; Applicants for Landing/Approval in Principle (sponsorship within Canada); Minister's Permits (and/or extension thereof).
Authorization
Students registering in credit courses require authorization by their day school principal or designate, on the application or a letter signed by the principal, indicating the course(s) for which the student is eligible to apply. Students under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian sign the application form.
If you are not currently a day school student, and you wish to enrol in a make-up course, you must present a transcript or report card which shows a final mark in the subject to be taken.

Note: For late registrants, admission is dependent on space being available.
Costs
Fees apply for Visa students at a rate of $1100.00 for one 110-hour course and $550.00 for each 55-hour course. Students may enrol in one 110-hour course or one or two 55-hour courses.
