Peel District School Board is committed to success for all students. For some, that means developing the skills and ability to live independently in the community. If your child attends a special education program or if you just want to learn more about special education, here are some resources to help you. It can be difficult to know all of the terms and language associated with special education. Here are some common acronyms to help. Students who have behavioural, communicational, intellectual, physical or multiple exceptionalities, may require special education programs and /or services to benefit fully from their school experience.
