CIDA Student Leadership Fair

The Peel District School Board will host a free student leadership fair for Peel leadership/global development clubs on May 27, 2011 at the Mississauga Grand Banquet and Convention Centre.

9 a.m. to noon
The event celebrates the success of students and staff, highlighting the importance of becoming active global citizens. Student and teachers will have a four-foot space to set-up a display that features their club's achievements.

  • enjoy free snacks

What qualifies as a leadership/global development club?

Any club that makes a difference within the school, the community, country or on an international level is encouraged to participate. Club activities may include volunteering, raising awareness or money, or any other pursuit where students and staff have made a positive impact in peoples’ lives.

Registration Information :  

  • Spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, with maximum enrolment of 60 clubs, one club per school, six students per club, and one teacher.
  • Supply coverage is NOT provided.
  • Transportation is NOT provided.
  • Lunch is NOT provided, however snacks are available.
  • Once 60 clubs have registered, registration will close.
  • Students must complete a permission form and return it to the school before the event.
