Description of community agency/organization:

Habitat for Humanity Brampton’s mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting home ownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty. We create a dynamic community from the efforts, hearts, and minds of volunteers, corporate partners, government contributors, social organizations, and staff.


What you will do:

We have a variety of positions to choose from in our Restore:

Customer Service/store organization

Product assembly and testing

Product pricing

Product Receiving/shipping

 
Skills required:

Volunteers must be flexible and willing to learn new skills.

Skills you will learn:

Volunteering at the Restore can lead to interesting possibilities with Habitat for Humanity Brampton as we continue to build affordable housing for hard working families. Plus, you will meet people from all walks of life with differing interests.

Length of time required:

Flexible but generally four hours per week.
