Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee (MCAC)

Position title:

Bicycle Ambassador

Description of community agency/organization:

The MCAC works with the City of Mississauga to improve and promote cycling in Mississauga. See BikeM.ca

What you will do:

Do you love to ride your bike? Why not do it and get volunteer hours too. Ride your local trails every week and report any repairs that are needed, or other problems, to Mississauga Parks and Recreation.

Skills required:

Ability to ride a bike.

Skills you will learn:

Reporting. Opportunity for further involvement with MCAC, and working with the City Staff and Councillors.

Length of time required:

Approx. 2 or more hour per week for 7 months (28 weeks).

Location:

Local trails.
