Position title: We are looking for volunteers to participate in our Youth Forum on Health and be ambassadors and volunteers for all future TREWO health education events. Volunteer certificates of participation and recognition will be granted.
Description of community agency/organization: The Ripple Effect Wellness Organization (TREWO) is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to educating and empowering Canadians to lead healthy lives through proactive decision making.
Celebrating Canada’s cultural diversity, we provide customized care at the community level. We offer educational health and wellness programs to communities at risk for certain diseases – for example, South Asians and Afro-Canadians for diabetes and high cholesterol, Caucasians for multiple sclerosis. Length of time required: 5:00pm to 8:30pm (3.0 hours)
